Anne McConnell is an environmental and regulatory services consultant with 20 years of experience implementing innovative compliance and sustainability initiatives. She began her career with Procter & Gamble where she held progressive R&D, Regulatory and External Relations positions in North America. Sur le sujet deSignificant strides have been made over the past several decades toward understanding, predicting and regulating the safe use of chemicals. Yet, the topic has never received so much public attention. What approaches are used by government, industry and other stakeholders to avoid potential environmental or safety impacts? Canada’s Chemicals Management Plan is taking world-leading steps, while other jurisdictions pursue different paths. Chemical users hold significant responsibility.
